We dressed up in Spooky costumes, and Key Stage 1 went trick or treating, and had a Halloween party.

Odd Sock Day: In support of Anti-bullying Week
We all wore odd socks fo the day to show that we supported the National Anti-bullying week. As a school, each child filled in a jigsaw piece to say how they are going to help to stop bullying.

Children in Need: Helping raise money
We raised £81.50 for Children in Need. We had a pyjama day, relaxing and looking after our mental health.
Activities included: Joe Wicks Keep Fit Session, Yoga Session, watching the Duck Race, a Pudsey bear colouring competition
Halloween Dressing Up Day 23rd October
Fun at Golden Hill – We all came into school dressed up for Halloween. This year it was important to make sure children did not go out trick or treating, so we went out around our school. Eagles and Kestrels children were able to go and knock on doors, with some interesting characters answering!! The children then enjoyed a Halloween party. In other classes there were a variety of Halloween art activities.
World Mental Health Day 9th October
We linked into the World Mental Health Day by wearing yellow for the day and bringing in £1 for the Young Minds Charity. We raised £50 for the charity. In our classes, we delivered work based around our mental health. It is important that we all look after our mental health.

Safer Internet Day 11th February 2020
We linked into the National Safer Internet Day, ensuring that all the children had a session looking at internet safety.

Roald Dahl Day 13th September 2019
We celebrated the author Roald Dahl by reading his books and dressing up.



Mental Health Day 10th October 2019
We joined in National Mental Health Day to allow us to think about our own Well Being. We had an afternoon choosing activities to make us happy.



Science Week 14th – 18th October 2019
We enjoyed a week of Science activities and then a Science Show.
