We have been observing caterpillars in our class, and watched as they changed into butterflies.
We enjoyed listening to our visitors, and finding out about Muslims, and their Islamic faith. We joined in a variety of activities, and had an opportunity to learn about how some Muslims dress.
We enjoyed a Scooter Safety session, where we learnt about how we can keep safe on scooters. We discussed how important it is to wear a helmet when riding on a scooter.We enjoyed a Scotter Safety session, where we learnt about how we can keep safe on scooters. Forest School Session: We thought about words linked to our Values, and tried writing the words in different ways. We found writing with water needed to be done quickly as it kept drying out.
Farm animals at Golden Hill
It was great fun finding out about farm animals, with all the children able to spend time with ducks, rabbits, lambs, sheep and a calf. We had the opportunity to hold a duck and a rabbit. Then we got to pet the larger animals, and then feed a lamb.
We enjoyed a day at Fairhaven Lake, with all the children brave enought to get in the lake at the end of the session!
We enjoyed a science show in school this week.

Kestrels class enjoyed joining in the PE Inclusion Festival, we had a try at three different Inclusion games
In Kestrels we have started a topic on Rocks. We have looked at a variety of rocks, and talked about their appearance, and how they feel.
